What a big year 2010 was! SharePoint 2010 launch, conferences, getting married and two trips each to US and UK not to mention Australia. The year just flew by! Great thing is that 2011 is going to be even bigger with some great SharePoint community events already planned. I finally managed to upload some of my past presentations from last year (2010) and past years to Slide Share. These can be downloaded/viewed from SlideShare.
New Zealand SharePoint Community Highlights of 2010
The local SharePoint community had a great year with the Second NZ SharePoint conference and also the SharePoint 2010 launch event organised across the major New Zealand cities of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. This event was a huge success with a large number of online and event attendees. Overall there is an increase in the number of local SharePoint community events throughout New Zealand and more people have attended user group sessions. You can go to http://www.dot.net.nz or http://www.sharepointusergroup.net.nz to sign up for events. There is also a RSS feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/NZDOTNET or for Wellington SharePoint events at http://feeds.feedburner.com/NZSPUG.
Finally to wrap up the 2010 year we had the first ever SharePoint Saturday NZ event in Christchurch. This was a huge success and will be another annual event to watch out for.
