SharePoint User Group Wellington (NZ) Events [ Posted on: 02-November-2007 ]

The Wellington SharePoint User Group has the following upcoming events in November, December and January 2008.

November

November date is tentatively booked for the 22nd Thursday and will be held at Microsoft New Zealand. The topic for this event is New Zealand Public Records act and MOSS. This event will showcase new features and how MOSS will enable public sector organisations to implement a MOSS solution for Documents and Records Management. Speakers are Mark Orange from Intergen, Jonathan Stuckey from MSFT and Chandima (me) from Provoke. 

December

Business Workflow in SharePoint and how third party solutions such as K2 BlackPearl can be integrated to provide end users with the capability of building rich workflow enhancements. Tamlyn Kemp from Intergen will showcase lesson learnt from the field about the integration of K2 and SharePoint. Date will be notified. This is most likely on the 12th or 13th of December at Intergen.

January 2008

Zac Smith of Provoke will showcase the SharePoint Community Kit Project and his experience in being part of a leading group of SharePoint experts around the world. Zac has been working with the CKS team to provide rich functionality to existing SharePoint sites. CKS is available on CodePlex. http://www.codeplex.com/cks
